Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDY ANNE DOERKSEN Peacefully on April 8, 2005 Judy Anne Doerksen passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 51 years. Judy is survived by her sister Patricia (Earl) Spencer; brothers, Daniel, David and Milton; many aunts and uncles; nieces, Sheryl (Andrew), Jennilee, Kelsie and Lindsay; nephew Brandon; great-niece Brianna and great-nephew Devin. She also leaves to mourn her close friends, Sophie Tatarchuk and Sally Stone, along with her extended family at Hope Centre. She was predeceased by her parents Abraham and Kathleen Doerksen. Judy was born and raised in Winnipeg, attending Pinkham Elementary and Argyle High School. She enjoyed school and made many good friends. In her 20s, Judy volunteered at the Luther Home where her friendly nature was very much appreciated. Judy enjoyed being with children, time with family and friends, music, attending movies, motorcycle rides, shopping and eating out. Her job at Versatech Industries for the last six years was of great importance to her. In later years, Judy moved into her home at Hope Centre Res. Inc. on Aikins. These were years of some difficult physical changes and losses, through which she was loved and supported by her extended Hope Centre family . Sincere thanks to Hope Centre Res. Inc. for their love and friendship. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Apostolic Church, 305 Machray Avenue with Pastor Tom Campbell. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy's memory to Hope Centre Residential Inc. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Though I worked with Judy for a short time approx. 4 years ago, she touched my heart. I wish I had the opportunity to continue a relationship however her presence has inspired me to learn more about the visually impaired. Rest in Peace Judy.
