LOUIS JACQUES LAVALLEE March 6, 1955 - April 10, 2005 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Louis' courageous three year struggle with cancer ended at the Altona Community Memorial Health Centre at the age of 50 years old. Louis is loving remembered by his wife Brenda; children, Marc (16) and Jessie (13); mother Annette; brothers, Karl and Ivan; sisters, Debbie and Elaine (Stan); mother-in-law Joyce Valcourt; sister-in-law Gail (Marty); brother-in-law Rick (Diane); as well as several nieces and nephews. Louis was predeceased by his infant daughter April, his father Joseph Lavallee, father-in-law Denis Valcourt and his sister-in-law Carol Valcourt. Louis was a loving husband and devoted father. He took great pride in building his business in Letellier, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed sharing that love with his family and friends at the cabin at Sherwood Lake. The family wishes to thank Dr. Holland-Muter (Dr. Bessie) and the staff at the Altona Hospital for their excellent care. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 at the Letellier Catholic Church. Interment of ashes to follow at the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Letellier Catholic Church. Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona in care of arrangements.

  • Dear Brenda Much time has passed since we made memories together, but they're good memories. Know that you and Lou are in my prayers & thoughts. Lou will be tooling around heaven in his little red truck, but still loving & watching over you & the kids from a place where there IS no pain. God bless. Much love, always, Lenore & Craig - Posted by: Lenore (Friend) on: Apr 15, 2005

  • Goodbyes are not forever And nor is it the end When angels come to call away A loved one or a friend. The empty place that’s left behind Within this world we know Reminds us just how brief a stay We have before we go. So when it’s time to bid farewell To one we’ll dearly miss Let’s just say we’ll meet again And promise them with this… The true gift is that love remains Although we now must part.. Until forever and beyond I’ll keep you in my heart. ‘Wishing You Comfort In Your Time Of Sorrow I'm sorry for your recent loss, you're in my prayers. I love you all. - Posted by: Brandon Veeder (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2005
