Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTRUMAINE ABRAHAM HABIB April 14, 1983 - April 4, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle (Maine) on April 4, 2005 in Vancouver. Trumaine was predeceased by his Grandma and Grandpa Geddie and Grandma and Grandpa Garton. He is lovingly remembered by his family; Heather and Charles Garton; Terry, Wendy, Jessica, Johnathon and Josie; Bonnie, Rob and Travis; Tony, Sabrina and Tristan; Dallas and Shaylene; special friend Gina; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and numerous friends. Trumaine was a very loving and outgoing person, always helping someone. He attended Sherwood Elementary School, Morse Place Junior High and then Kildonan East High School. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved to play soccer, volleyball and basketball. He played on community soccer teams and then on the Kilcona soccer team for many years. He also played on the Provincial soccer team. While in high school he found his first job at Taco Time in Kildonan Place Mall. He enjoyed his summers at Brereton Lake swimming, fishing and hanging out with his friends. The last few years were hard for Trumaine. He struggled to find his way. Now he is at peace and his spirit is free. May the winds of love blow softly, And whisper so you can hear, We will always love and miss you, And wish that you were here. For all that life has given us, And all that's left to do, We'll know no greater treasure, Than the days we had with you. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue.

Although I wasn’t born until 2009, and never got to meet you, I really wish I could. Hearing about how good you were at sports (mainly soccer) I really wish I could play with you. You seemed like a great guy, and I wish you were still with us today. - Posted by: Trevor Boux (Nephew) on: May 23, 2022
