Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN RAMSAY FALCONER John Ramsay Falconer died peacefully on April 8, 2005 at Lion's Gate Hospital. He was born in Winnipeg on March 23, 1927. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jean; daughters, Wendy (Mac) and Lynn; his son Jay (Julie); and his grandchildren, Torin, Chaelyn, and Emmet; as well as his many other relatives, friends and former colleagues. He worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry in Manitoba, Ontario and British Columbia, latterly for Astra where he was Canadian product manager. In 1980, he retired to North Vancouver to be near his children. Although he had to give up his beloved golf, he always maintained his love of new technology, with his cameras, stereos, and his computers. John Ramsay was a popular raconteur and thanks to his passion for computers and his adept use of the internet, he was able to share with his friends around the world. He was a stalwart member of the Sunnycrest Association and he and Jean were crowned King and Queen of the 2003 New Year Festivities. A service and celebration of his life will be held at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. Remembrances of John Ramsay will be welcome and, for those unable to attend, messages may be read out. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Society.
