DOROTHY BRECHIN (HARRISON) April 2, 1917 - April 10, 2005 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on April 10, 2005. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her son Gerry and wife Julie; daughter Colleen and husband Chan; grandchildren, Garett, Gregg (Amanda), Darcie and Brett as well as her great-granddaughter Charlize. Dorothy will also be missed by her brother Ken and wife Rebecca; sisters-in-law, Joan and Audrey; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will also be sorrowfully missed by the Boutangs with whom she spent many happy occasions. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Buster; parents, John and Jessie Harrison; sister Evelyn; brothers, Jim, George, Lloyd and great-granddaughter Brittany. Dorothy lived live to the fullest and after retiring from the post office in Carman, she enjoyed many wonderful years of travelling, fishing, golfing, cross country skiing, canoeing and spending time with family and friends. With Dorothy serving in the Royal Canadian Armed Forces she was an active member in the Carman Legion all her life and was awarded her lifetime membership in 2003. We will remember Dorothy for her tenacious spirit, her generosity and kind heart . We love you Mom and we will miss you deeply. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church on Friday, April 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman.
