Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWENDY JOAN JUTRAS (STEWART) September 12, 1946 - April 10, 2005 Wendy passed away April 10 at 1:07 a.m. in the presence of her family. Wendy's journey in life for the past 35 years has been with her husband Danny. She met Danny on a blind date May 15, 1970. They fell in love and were married on December 31, 1971. Wendy and Danny moved to Estevan in March 1972 and of the three years they were there Wendy worked two years at St. Josephs Hospital. Wendy and Danny moved to Prince Albert in the spring of 1975 and it did not take long for her to continue her passion to help people as a LPN nurse when she started work at the Victoria Union Hospital. A few years later Wendy carried on her vocation by accepting an LPN position at the Prince Albert Associate Medical Clinic where she worked for many years. As the years passed, Wendy faced many challenges and with each challenge there was a flourishing of strength that caressed every one that knew her. Wendy became very ill with cancer in 1990 and even though it eventually caused her to leaving her profession as a nurse, it did not slow down her zest for life. Very little time lapsed before she found other interests like ceramics and stained glass. Wendy eventually started to teach ceramics, on a volunteer basis, twice a week. Wendy has created goodness and kindness that will always be part of the lives of everyone that knew and touched her. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Wendy always looked forward to her yearly visits to Winnipeg to spend time with her sister, Sharon. These times were filled with laughter, shopping, reminiscing about the past, and looking forward to the future by getting her cards read with Nicole and Sharon. To all of her family she was a sister, confidante, advisor, and most of all a best friend. Her unselfish determination in sharing her many gifts and talents of love, courage, understanding, fortitude, compassion, and faith for life has given strength and memories, which we as a family will cherish for the rest of our lives. Wendy you are our angel now and your spirit will always be beside us to protect and guide us. We believe God has given us a few more tasks to complete here on earth. After that we look forward to joining you and our families for eternal happiness. We promise and trust in Jesus. Wendy is survived by her husband Dan Jutras of Prince Albert; daughter Danielle Nicole Jutras; son Gavin Jeffrey (Christy); grandson Odin Marshall all of Prince Albert; sister Sharon Ellis; brothers, Al (Dawn) Stewart of Winnipeg, Bill (Val) Stewart of Calgary; sister Leslie Stewart of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Ray (Helen) Jutras of Prince Albert; sister-in-law Ruth Ellen (Dennis) Pascut of Drumheller; brother-in-law Claude (Brenda) Jutras of Red Deer; mother-in-law Ellen Marie Jutras of Drumheller; numerous nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
