Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION BRAMWELL 1929 - 2005 Marion Catherine Bramwell passed away on April 12, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg, MB after a lengthy illness. Marion was born to the late Patrick and Maria Douglas at Hilton, MB on September 20, 1929. It was there she received her education. She entered the work force with the Manitoba Telephone System as a telephone operator at Oak River, MB and later at Baldur, MB. Marion married Greg Bramwell of Neelin, MB. They resided in Winnipeg where Marion was employed by Mitchell Copp Jewellers. After her marriage ended she worked in Ottawa and Toronto until 1997 when she retired to Winnipeg. Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her brothers, William and Robert and brothers-in-law, Edward Rorabeck and John Pestrick and sister-in-law Iona Crawford. Marion will be deeply missed by her brothers, Patrick of Oak River, MB, John of Winnipeg and sisters, Elizabeth Rorabeck, Jean Pestrick, and Dorothea Large all of Winnipeg, Margaret Smith of Vancouver and sister-in-law Sheila Douglas of Winnipeg as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A family graveside service will take place on Friday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, please meet at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at the centre of the Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave. Rest in Peace, dear Marion.
