Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMMA MCDONALD FRASER It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Emma McDonald Fraser on April 12, 2005 at Concordia Place Care Centre. Emma would have celebrated her 90th birthday on April 27, 2005. She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons and their families. Bill and Joan (Brian and Melanie, Heather, Ken), Bob and Helen (Jamie and Angie, Dan and Annelies, Dave and Susan) and Alex (Rod and Adam and their Mother Lynne). Emma dearly loved her four great-grandchildren - Samantha, Jessalyn, Tucker and Reillie. She will also be fondly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband James R. Fraser in July 1955. Emma was predeceased by her sisters, May, Elsie and her twin sister Anne and her brothers, Alex and Bob and their spouses. After Dad's death, Mom dedicated her life to raising her three sons. She worked for 25 years for CN/Via Rail and made many lifelong friends through her work, her involvement with her church and the Sons of Scotland. Mom loved baking, sewing, and spending time with her family. Mom was one of the original residents of Concordia Place for the last five years and often commented on how wonderful her caregivers were to her. For that her family wishes to thank each and every one of you, in particular the staff and volunteers on the 4th floor. A celebration of Emma's life will be held on Friday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A private family interment will take place prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations to Concordia Place, 1000 Molson St. or a charity of your choice would be very much appreciated. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J COUTU CO.
