Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET LINDSAY Margaret Lindsay, 92, died Monday, April 4, 2005, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the eldest child of the late John and Agnes (Campbell) Hamilton. She is survived by her sons, James (Janice), Whitehorse, Yukon; Alex (Helen), Delhaven; daughter, Elspeth (Keith Williams), Picton, ON; grandchildren, Alison, Kailey, Keith, Kathleen, and Sarah; great-grandchild, Ana; sisters, Agnes Strawbridge and Anne Gourlay and their families, all of Glasgow, Scotland. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Alexander Lindsay; son, John. Margaret was a graduate of the Western Infirmary School of Nursing, Glasgow, Scotland. She was an instructor with the Saint John Ambulance Association by whom she was honoured with admission to the Order of St. John in 1971 as a serving sister. She enjoyed painting, and was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother. The funeral service for Mrs. Lindsay was held on Thursday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. in St. Andrew's United Church, Wolfville, Rev. Robyn Brown-Hewitt officiating. Donations in memory of Mrs. Lindsay may be made to St. John Ambulance. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main St., Wolfville.
