DELORES ROMAS (nee KRAVETZ) It is with deep sadness that the family of Delores Romas announces her passing on April 12, 2005 after a brief illness at Concordia Hospital. Delores will be sadly missed by her sons, Michael (Gwen) and Trevor; her precious grandchildren, Ashley and Katherine, who will miss their only grandma; sisters Elsie (Gary) Caron, Patsy (Richard) Romas, Gloria (Ken) Woytiuk, Theresa (Allan) Syganiec, Stephanie Kravetz (Al Fidler); brother Peter (Connie) Kravetz; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Delores was predeceased by her husband Wallace (Wally) Romas just seven months ago on September 8, 2004; her parents Steve and Ksenia, both in 1974; oldest brother Michael in 1956; and her youngest brother Stephen in 1977. Delores was born on June 5, 1942 in Winnipeg and raised in Cooks Creek along with her seven siblings. Her childhood was filled with fun, laughter and a lot of teasing. Delores enjoyed being around her family, which she was very proud of. Her door was always open to family and friends. Her friends will surely miss their daily phone calls. Besides devoting most of her time to raising her sons, Delores was employed part time by Delta Hotels for 31 years where she made many lifelong friends. Thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care of Delores, during her brief stay. Prayers will be held on Friday, April 15 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek with Rev. Fr. Taras Kowch officiating. Interment to follow in Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garry Caron, Richard Romas, Ken Woytiuk, Allan Syganiec, Al Fidler and Brian Friesen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Delores' memory to CancerCare Manitoba. Delores - we will miss you and you will always be in our hearts. Vichnaya Pamyat CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL586-8044
