RHODA GERALDINE WARDLEY On April 9, 2005 at the age of 84 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg. After a 41 year career with Employment and Immigration Canada, Rhoda devoted her retirement years to her family, pets and garden. She enjoyed family parties and revelled in the achievements of her great-nieces and great-nephews. Although travel was difficult in her later years, Rhoda welcomed letters and visits from her cousins and friends. Rhoda was predeceased by her parents, Fred Wardley and Christina (Dolly) Wardley, nee Fleming and by her sister Arline Wardley. She is survived by her brother Graham Wardley (Helen) of Burlington, ON; niece Karen Gray (Bill) of Winnipeg; niece Connie Vanderbaaren (John) of Burlington, ON and nephew Scott Wardley (Rita) of Mississauga, ON. Also cherishing her memory are great-nieces, Jennifer and Carolyn Devine, Laurel Gray and Ceci and Chloe Wardley as well as great-nephews, Madison Gray and Zachaary Wardley. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Victoria General Hospital for their care of Rhoda and for their support. A private interment will be held at St. Vital Cemetery.
