ROSS LINCOLN OVERAND
Date of Passing: Apr 11, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSS LINCOLN OVERAND With sadness, we announce the passing of our father, brother and uncle on April 11, 2005 after a lengthy illness. He was a Chef at Red River Community College. After his retirement at age 55 he ran school tours on the farm from which he received a tremendous amount of pleasure. He was an avid gardener and animal lover. Ross was a great father and friend. He was always willing to lend a hand or go out of his way to help his friends and family, never asking for anything in return. Ross will be greatly missed by his sons Bill and Doug; ex-wife Marilyn; brother Grant (Annie); many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend and neighbor Cheryl. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Ford and Bruce, sister Elsie and an infant son Ross. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB, with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take And each must go alone, It's part of the Master's Plan A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds Miss me, but let me go.
