JANET RUTH On April 14, 2005 at Concordia Hospital, Janet Ruth, beloved mother and friend, passed away at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Ruth of Winnipeg and her son Kevin Ruth of Miami, FL. She also leaves to mourn her passing, her brother Peter and family in England and sister Brenda and family in Australia as well as her niece Sally and family in England. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Joseph and Catherine Evett; as well as her sister Judith. Janet was born in England in 1945 and moved on her own to Canada when she was 21, where she raised two children amongst a community of true friends in Winnipeg. She valued her independence so greatly that despite her long struggles with a severe case of Rheumatoid she continued to work full time, chose to find joy in living and continued to seek out adventure and experience. She has been an inspiration to many and will be sadly missed. Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 18 at 2:30 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main St. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, 105-386 Broadway.
