SARAH JANE CUMMING (nee BUSHBY) Peacefully on April 15, 2005 at the Grace Hospital Sarah Jane left this world to be with her Lord and Heavenly Father at the age of 82 years. She was born May 6, 1922 in Whitemouth, MB to George and Jessie Bushby. The family eventually numbered 12, but she was predeceased by an infant brother Murray and an infant sister Annie. Mom deeply loved and respected her parents and siblings sharing many happy memories over the years. Sarah gave her heart to the Lord at the age of 14 and lived her life serving Him and her family. She was married on April 29, 1943 to the Rev. Harry Clifford Cumming and gave birth to four children. She was widowed in 1965. Sarah worked in the food service industry for 43 years, touching everyone she met with her smile and cheery personality. Her last place of employment was with the Canadian Wheat Board where she made many friends and left a lasting impression through her hard work ethic, her loyalty and her compassion to others. She retired in 1985 and kept herself busy with her church, her family and her extensive volunteer work, all giving her joy and fulfilment. Sarah is lovingly remembered by her children, Grace (Don) of Calgary, Sharon (Russell) Reg (Catherine) of Winnipeg. Sarah was proud grandmother to Jamey (Jen), Hugh (Wendy), Jonathon (Aimee), Yvette (Ken), Scott (Sandra), Kirk (Miyuki), Jennifer (Paul), Andrew (Jen). She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren. Also mourning her passing is her sister Edith, brother Andy, brother-in-law Lawrence, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, plus many lifetime friends. She was predeceased by her newborn son David, her husband Harry in 1965, brothers, James, Tom, George, Walter, Bob; and sisters, Isabel and Jessie. We all feel honoured to have been a part of her life - she truly was God's Living Angel. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 18 at Calvary Temple - Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. Interment followed at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St., Winnipeg. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Hugh, Scott, Jon, Kirk and Andy plus great-nephews, Wayne Johnson, Grant and Doug Ryckman. Honorary Pallbearer was Lawrence Henschell. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made in Sarah's honour to World Vision. THOMSON IN THE PARK Funeral Home and Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd - 925-1120
