ELIZABETH LINDA CHEZICK Mrs. Elizabeth Chezick, aged 77 years, of Whitemouth, MB, dearly beloved wife of the late August Chezick passed away on April 7, 2005 at Whitemouth District Health Centre. She is survived by; son Christopher (Karen); daughters, Trudy and Sharla (Malcolm); grandchildren, Tina, Kennedy and Hayley; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Elizabeth and Amanda and Sister Esther of Kamloops, BC. She was predeceased by husband August Chezick; brother Daniel; sisters, Lily and Ruth; parents, Michael and Wanda Bakun. Betty, born August 30, 1927 arrived in Canada at the age of two from Poland. Her parents settled in the North end of Winnipeg for several years and then moved to Vancouver, BC. In January, 1947 Betty married August Chezick of the Whitemouth area. They loved the next 15 years in Northern Manitoba and British Columbia. In June, 1962 they moved lock, stock and barrel from Chilliwack, BC to Seven Sisters Falls. Betty resided 30 years in Seven Sisters until 1992 when Whitemouth Personal Care Home became her residence. Memorial service will be held on April 19 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, River Hills, MB with Rev. George Johnson officiating.
