EVELYN ROSE WILWAND Peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital, Evelyn Rose Wilwand, aged 80 years, passed away in her sleep. She was born on January 6, 1925 in Winnipeg where she resided all her life. Evelyn will be dearly missed by her daughters, Linda and Judy (John); sons, Greg and Curt (Cindey); grandchildren, Chad, Todd, Marla, Barry, Wendy (Ferd), Coraleigh and Aeron; great-grandchild Indica. She was predeceased by her husband Earl, parents Bill and Isabell, and sister Frances. Evelyn cherished all the moments shared with her family, especially her daily cup of coffee with son Greg and regular conversations with her sister Frances. She enjoyed playing darts and bingo at the local legion, as well as family getaways at the lake where she spent time fishing and camping. Evelyn loved watching numerous sports on television. She also enjoyed her little dog Bee-Gee and her favourite flower was the rose. Evelyn was the best mother of all and was loved by all who knew her. She was very loving and giving to others. She would even give a person her last dollar if she felt that they needed it. A special thank you goes to Dr. E. J. Pilat and to the staff of the ICU at Concordia Hospital for all the care they so graciously provided. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
