ROZALIA OLAH-BAJNOK (nee KALNA) On Friday, April 8, 2005 peacefully with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness, Rozalia Olah-Bajnok was chosen to be with God for Eternal Life. Rozalia was born in Tatabanya, Hungary on February 27, 1929. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Olah in 1995 and George Bajnok in 2001; her mother Maria, father Janos and brothers, Joseph and Sandor in Hungary. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Joseph (Donna), Zoltan (Candace), Rose (Tibor), Susan (Sav) and Kathy (Chris); grandchildren, Sherilynn (Mike), Christina (Rodney), Jennifer, Rosemarie (Andrew), Melissa, Eric, Susie, Frankie, Desmond, Nicholas, Trina, Justin and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Sara. She is also survived by her brother John and sister Mary of Hungary. Rozalia came to Canada in 1958 with her husband Joseph and two young sons where they settled in Winnipeg to raise their family. She was a wonderful wife and mother who along side her husband Joseph, worked at Canadian Linen for 25 years. Rozalia was a devoted member of the Hungarian parish at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, where she sang in the church choir as well as being a founding member of the Kapisztran Folk Ensemble for over 40 years. She dedicated her life to her family, the church and her Hungarian heritage. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Boulanger and to the nurses and staff of Unit 100 of the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB and to the doctors and staff of St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg for their compassionate care of our mother and to our family throughout these trying times. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 365 Burnell St., with Father Stan Gosek officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., at 2:00 p.m. NYUGODJAL BEKEBEN EDESANYANK SZERETUNK TEGED.
