Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES LEWIS JAQUES Peacefully and with dignity in the comfort of his home and with family, James Lewis Jaques Gentleman Jim went on to meet his Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 2:25 p.m. after a lengthy battle with cancer. James Lewis Jaques, born May 21, 1950 in Winnipeg, son of the late James L. Jaques and Barb Unrow of Winnipeg. James is lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna (nee McIntyre); mother Barbara; his children, James (Tracey), Wendy (Mike), Brendan (Jody), Melanie (John), Amanda and Ian and stepson Roger (Barb). Eight brothers and sisters, Wade (Jonell), Allan (Val), Judy (Karl), Kathy, Sherry (Steve), Terry (Bill), Lisa (Marvin), Chris (Gloria) and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. James loved the Lord and loved sharing his faith with those he worked with. James drove transport for Reimers, Big Freight, Paul's Hauling, TransX and Motrux. His CB handle was Gentleman Jim and he was known all across North America for sharing his faith. Special thank you to the nurses and home care ladies of North Eastman Association for their support to James and his family. Viewing to be held on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 21 at 12:00 noon, also at the Chapel. Interment at Transcona Cemetery. Breaker Breaker 19 - this is Gentleman Jim and my 20 is heaven! Loved being with you for a while, Catch you on the flipside - Till we meet again. Have a good one, I know I will.

I told my middle one today, Evan, he is now 12. I told him, it has been 15 years today since my dad passed. He said wow, that is a long time, we should go visit your dad at the grave again, surely he would like to see you.(He is a funny kid, but I know you know that already) I said, he sees me all the time here in the house. Evan said mom don't be creepy lol. The boys love going to Micheal's and picking out flowers and such to bring to your grave and we will come again soon but I always think of that conversation we had, years and years before you were sick, before I changed our relationship and decided I was a grown up but now I really am and know what life is. For what ever reason the conversation of death we had, long before, I didn't want to talk about you being in the ground and in a grave, and you said but Mal aka Mel, it won't be me, I will be with him.
