Date of Passing: Apr 17, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN KATHLEEN JAWORSKI (nee HERTZ) March 16, 1932 - April 17, 2005 It is with deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Jean Kathleen into God's gentle loving arms with her family by her side on Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband Albert of 47 years; treasured daughter Darlene; sons, Don (Judith), Gary (Tracey) and her most beloved and precious grandchildren, Janine (Dale), Carisa, Trevor, Terri, Cory and Wesley. She will also be sadly missed by her two sisters and one brother, Wanda (Stanley), Tony (Adeline), Jennie (John) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her mother, Stefania on July 26, 1978; father Rudolph on August 11, 1978; mother and father-in-law, Helen and Joseph as well as her little buddy Nikki. Jean was born on March 16, 1932 and raised in East Selkirk, MB. She was a member of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church. Jean worked at Eaton's for 25 years until her retirement in 1988. Jean loved her family. She was always putting others before herself. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, talking with many relatives, playing cards-Canasta, cooking the world's best cabbage rolls and having fun excursions to the Casino. Private family prayer service will take place on Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home with The Very Rev. Fr. Wesley Cwieka officiating. A reception will be held following the service. Honorary pallbearers will be her family and all her friends should consider themselves honorary pallbearers as well. The family would to thank the Winnipeg Fire Dept. and Paramedics as well as the Seven Oaks Emergency and ICU. We will never forget your love, kindness and generosity. We will never forget how willing you were to listen. We will never forget you. MOTHER You can only have one mother, Loving kind and true. No other friend in all the world Will be so true to you. For all her loving kindness, She asked for nothing in return. If all the world deserted us, To our mother we could turn. For those of us who have a mother, Treasure her with care, For you will never know her value, Till you see that she's not there. To hear her voice, to see her smile, To sit and talk with her awhile, To be together in the same old way, Would be our dearest wish today. AFTERGLOW I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an after glow of smiles When life is done. I'd like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times And bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave When life is done. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 Main Street 338-7111 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
