ANGELINE (LILA) DOWHANIUK May 26, 1916 - April 18, 2005 The family of Angeline Dowhaniuk sadly announces her passing on Monday, April 18, 2005. Angeline was predeceased by her husband Dmytro. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her son Barry (Judy) and daughter Darline Bauerlein; her grandchildren, Lisa (Mike), Tracy (Todd), Kelly, Jay (Diane), Dean (Sandy) and Todd; her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Carter, Mackenzie, Mikaela and Sydney. Angeline was a longtime resident of The Pas, MB until 1985, when she moved to Winnipeg with her husband. Since arriving in Winnipeg, Angeline was a member of St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church. She will be lovingly remembered for her cinnamon rolls and for all of her cooking. Angeline also found pleasure knitting, crocheting, tending her garden and playing cards. Prayers will be held Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt St. with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk O.S.B.M. presiding.
