Pepere lived his entire life in St-Pierre-Jolys. He worked as a mechanic in a garage known as Berard Bros., which he co-owned with his brother Luc. He started a Ski-Doo dealership, was owner of Shell Bulk Oil, and to top it off becoming a farmer. His great love of working the land was finally realized. He also worked the ancestral land with his brothers, Fernand, Coco, Luc, Henri and Raymond. Pepere had not yet retired from farming as his famous saying goes If I go visit the farm, I'm going to work anyways . Pepere was a man of few words, but asked for his opinion, what Pepere said was honoured and respected. He was a quiet, shy man, but had a mischievous side, and we were all caught at one time or another in one of his pranks. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22 at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the DeSalaberry Health Centre for the excellent care given to Samuel.
