JANET AGNES CHOQUETTE (nee ELLIS) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Choquette on April 19, 2005 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 84. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Terry (Diane) Edgeworth, Carol (David) MacKenzie, Cathy (Peter) Schneider, Robert (Susan) Choquette, Yvonne (Emil) Mohoric, and Dawn (Len) March. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Reid (Trisha), Brooke, Kari (Jason), Jeff, Stacey, Christie, Gess, Curtis, Jennifer, Shannon, Chelsea, Nicole, Zane, and Erin; as well as by her great-grandchildren, Darian, Taryn, Braeden, and Shay. Her sisters, Carol, and Margaret and brother Jim (Helen) will always remember their caring sister Janet. She was predeceased by her first husband James Edgeworth in 1949, and her second husband Magloire Choquette in 1981. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Pat, George, Jack; and sister Kay. Janet was born on July 30, 1920 in Tantallon, SK. She was a longtime member of the CWL and parishioner of St. Alphonsus Church. She loved playing bingo, knitting, and spending time with her ever-growing family. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe Avenue and Brazier Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Reid Edgeworth, Gesserit Choquette, Jeff MacKenzie, Curtis Schneider, Brooke Edgeworth, Jason DeGroot, Christie Schneider and Jennifer March. Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
