Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE PIC Anne Pic of Virden, MB passed away at The Sherwood Home in Virden, Saturday, April 9, 2005. Anne was born September 26, 1914 in Winnipeg, MB to John and Catherine Moskwa. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish in Virden for many years, belonging to the C.W.L. and Legion of Mary. She loved to watch football in the fall, curling in the winter and work in her yard in the summer. Due to health problems, she became a resident of The Sherwood Home in November, 2004. Here she enjoyed the many activities and new friends. Anne is survived by her daughters Glenda Hlady and Janet Cross; grandchildren, Alexis Hlady, Bobbi Paccagnan, Cheryl (Perry) Meriot, Suzanne (Rob) Cross-Fong and Rick (Donna) Cross; great-grandchildren, Baron (Nicole), Jayme and Maria Paccagnan, Riley and Tristen Cross and Jorja Fong; great-great-grandchildren, Kasey and Isaac Paccagnan. She is also survived by her sisters Pauline Benedictson and Jean Decourcy and by her brothers, Stan (Millie), Frank (Nettie) and Walter Moskwa, as well as by numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her first husband Alex Ewaschuk in 1976 and by her second husband Albert Pic in 1997. Anne was also predeceased by an infant son Robert; son-in-law Howard Cross; sisters, Mary, Kay and Bertha and brother Tom. Evening prayer service was held at Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden, Friday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. The service to celebrate Anne's life was held from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Virden, Saturday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Darius Biliran and Deacon Wilfrid Barre officiating. The Urn Bearer was her grandson Rick Cross and all in attendance at the service were considered by the family to be honorary pallbearers. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba in Anne's memory. G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden in care of arrangements.
