HENRY F. (HANK) WIENS 1935 - 2005 Suddenly, on the morning of April 10, 2005, Henry F. Wiens, aged 69 years, of Morden, MB, went to his eternal rest. Hank was born the second youngest of eight children on August 18, 1935. He married his childhood sweetheart, Eileen (nee Hildebrand) on December 30, 1956. After a short term of residence in Lynn Lake, MB they returned to Morden where they ran a successful plumbing and heating business for 37 years. Hank loved the outdoors and could regularly be found hunting, fishing, camping, golfing and flying his home-built plane. Hank and Eileen enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona where they had made many friends over the past 27 years. Hank loved his family and enjoyed having fun with his grandchildren. The family wishes to extend much gratitude to Joe and Estelle Masnuk for their valiant efforts in getting Hank to the hospital and for handling many other details that followed. Hank leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 48 years, Eileen and their three children; two daughters, Glenda and Ron Schwarz and their children, Kevin, Brian and Melanie, of Morden; Karen and David Pettinger and their children, Josh, Dana and Brittany, of Elgin, MB; one son, Daryl and Vicki Wiens and their children, Beau, Amanda and Nomi, of Tofield, AB; five sisters, Mary and George Hoeppner, Helen Langemann, Justina and Herb Peters, Louise and George Friesen, Erna Bergmann; two brothers, John and Martha Wiens and Jacob Wiens. He was predeceased by his parents, Johann and Helena Wiens; two brothers-in-law, John Langemann and Jake Bergmann; one sister-in-law, Selina Wiens. Cremation took place and a memorial service will follow at Christian Life Centre, Morden on Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Morris Vincent and Rev. Weldon Yeo officiating.
