Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAMUEL SHAPIRO May 8, 1928 - April 12, 2005 With sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Sam Shapiro on April 12, 2005. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Betty, his loving companion for 32 years; his sister Shirley Broder; brother-in-law Morris; their children and grandchildren, and Betty's family in Edmonton and the U.K. Sam was predeceased by his father Pesach, his mother Rachel and step-mother Rose. Sam graduated from the University of Manitoba in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration and worked in the Aircraft Industry and Real Estate. His many interests included inventions, patents, the theatre, acting, writing poetry and his favourite pastime reading. He was a man of integrity, faithful to his family and friends. We will cherish his memory and miss him dearly. Funeral services were held at Bnay Abraham Cemetery on April 15. Pallbearers were Alec Gillman, Tom Gillman, Saul London, Morris Broder, Shelley Ostrove and Arch Honigman.
