EDWARD (TED) GROVE 1940 - 2005 Peacefully at the Royal Alec Hospital in Edmonton, AB Edward (Ted) Grove passed away on April 17, 2005. Ted is survived by his loving wife Mariah (Roseanne) and sons, Alden and James of Ft. McMurray, AB; daughters, Charlene (Ron), Sandra (Greg), Cheryl (Ron), son John and his loving grandchildren. Ted is also survived by brothers, Jim (Pat) Stony Creek, ON, Ken (Donna), Dennis (Stella), Ron (Barb) of Selkirk, Norman (Val) of Ft. McMurray, AB; sisters, Lorraine Still, Gwen (Harry) Gowerluk of Selkirk, Margaret (Don) Sullivan of Glennhaven, N.S., and Gayle (Ted) MacDonald Sechelt, BC; sister-in-law Ann Williams (Robert) of Winnipeg, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Lorna and Bill Grove, brother David and sister Joan. Ted was born September 10, 1940 in Russell, MB The family moved to Selkirk in 1948 and Ted attended school there. He was a longtime employee of the M.R.M. in Selkirk. After becoming a millwright he moved to Ft. McMurray, AB in 1979. Ted was an avid golfer whose most memorable moment was winning the coveted Green Jacket at the Grove Masters. He also enjoyed playing pool and bingo. He had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to share a joke with anyone who would listen. Ted was a devoted husband and father and will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican Church on Manning St., Ft. McMurray, AB A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Clements Church, Selkirk, MB Howard and McBride Funeral Home, 1-780-422-1141
