GLORIA ESCARLAN With great sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Gloria Escarlan on Monday, April 18, 2005. Gloria was the loving wife of Rodolfo and caring mother to her three children, Mary Jane, Mary Lynn and Rodolfo III. Her sister-in-law Conchita Orjalo and brother-in-law Louie Orjalo, along with her nephews, Lou and Jeff, feel the great loss of a special person. Gloria will also be sadly missed by her family living in the Philippines and her co-workers at Peerless Garments Ltd. After Glow I'd like the memory of me, To be a happy one. I'd like to leave an after glow, Of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo, Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times, And bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun, Of memories that I leave when life is done. Lamay will be Saturday, April 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Sunday, April 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. in Winnipeg. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg; with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Arrangements in care of Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St.; phone 582-0973.
