VERNA DONALD Suddenly on April 21, 2005 Verna Donald passed away at the age of 63 years. Beloved mother of Gerald, Aaron, Marcy, Ricky, Lana (Blake), Curtis (Pam), Joanne and special grandson Cory. Verna leaves 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters, Leona, Gertrude (Roddy), Liz (Don) and Margaret, brothers, Alvin, Bill and Marvin (Kerry), many nieces, nephews and cousins very special to her were Tommy, Trina, Jasmine and Trevor. Predeceased by parents, Rose and Tom, sisters, Irene, Arvadell and partner and companion Andy St. Jean and niece Andrea. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 25 from Selkirk Aboriginal Redemption Centre, 209 Dufferin Ave., Selkirk, MB with Pastor Terry Throndson and Pastor Ray Settee officiating. Cremation to follow with burial in the Grand Marais Cemetery Tuesday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
