ANDERSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bertil Anderson at Seven Oaks Hospital on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the age of 74, from Lewy Body disease. Bert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joyce of 44 years; daughter Christine (Gary); son Brent (Liisa); and grandchildren, Tara, Jenna, and Will. Bert was predeceased by his brother Torgil and his parents Astrid and Walfred, who immigrated to Canada from Sweden. Bert proudly served for 33 years with Winnipeg Police Services, retiring in 1988. We would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the care they provided to Bert. A celebration of Bert's life will take place on Monday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
