WILLIAM FREDERICK FUERST Mr. William Frederick Fuerst, aged 89 years, of Beausejour, dearly beloved husband of Christine passed away on April 21, 2005 at the Beausejour Hospital. William (Bill) was born in Green Bay, MB on April 2, 1916. After marrying his wife Christine, they resided in Beausejour for the last 60 years. Bill was employed at the Beausejour Hotel and Howland Hotel for many years. He then opened Bill's Barber Shop in Beausejour and worked there until his retirement in 1981. His favourite pastime since his retirement was to beautify his yard, manicuring the grass and trimming the trees and shrubs. He is survived by wife Christine; sons Ken (Joan) and Cliff (Kim); grandchildren Jason, Jodi (Richard), Tara and Ryan; great grandchildren Madison and Nicholas; and sister Margaret Tonn. He is predeceased by brothers Gus, August and Roy; sisters Lydia, Martha, Lorna, Emma, Holdina and Madeline; parents Gottlieb and Paulina. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Fuerst, Jason Fuerst, Randy Urbanski, Greg Urbanski, Gary Blazeiko and Richard Boisvert. Viewing will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25 and prior to the service.
