ADAM LISCHYNSKI It is with saddened hearts the children of Adam Lischynski announce the passing of their dear Dad and Dido. He passed away on Friday, April 22, 2005 at the age of 81 years, at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre in St Pierre, MB. Dad is survived by one son and three daughters, Melvin (Barb) Lischynski, Eleanor Lischynski, Phyllis (Bill) Mushaluk, and Bernice (Ned) Smuk. Two grandsons, Ryan Smuk and Bryce Mushaluk. He is also survived by his special friend of many years Helen Werestiuk and her children; three sisters, Victoria Hayes, Ludwina Rasmussen and Helen Novak; one brother Roy Lischynski and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Dad was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1981 and his parents, Julius and Mary Lischynski. Prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 at Steinbach Funeral Home. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28 at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Rosa, MB. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
