Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY JASIN June 23, 1943 - April 25, 2005 Suddenly at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Stan passed away with his loving wife at his side. Stan worked for the City of Winnipeg for 34 years where he made many friends, retiring in the year 2000. After he retired, he enjoyed travelling once a year to different countries. In the last five years he saw Portugal, Italy, France, Spain and his last journey before his final journey was Hawaii. Stan will be remembered by his loving wife of 40 years, Janet Elizabeth of Gimli, MB; children, Kimberly (Joe), Jerry (Wendy) and Joseph; nine grandsons, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters; sisters, Lillian (Fred), Joyce (Reg), Susan (Ray); and brother Brian; longtime friend Butch Sanderson; sisters-in-law, Carole (Wayne) and Brenda; many nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his mother, father, stepfather; brother Marvin; mother-in-law and father-in-law; uncle Bernie; grandson Jasin Stanley (in infancy); and lady. Born in Winnipeg, moved to Gimli 17 years ago. Stan's family would like to thank Dr. Mark Kristjanson, doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks and the doctors and nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital for all their care and support. At Stan's request there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stan's memory to Seven Oaks Emergency Department Fund.
