MARY HARRISON 1916 - 2004 A memorial service for Mary will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons St. Mary Harrison or Harrison-Witation, nee Kozakewich, passed on November 24, 2004 at Errinrung Nursing Home in Thornbury, ON at the age of 87 years. She passed away peacefully comforted by her children. Mary was born in Glaslyn, SK. She married Sydney William Harrison in 1941 and moved to Winnipeg, MB. She became a business woman operating a thriving beauty salon. She suffered a partial stroke in 1997 and subsequently was moved to Toronto to be cared for by her daughter Monica Laura Belcourt. Mary is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her son Malcolm Sydney and his wife Alana of Calgary, her grandchildren, Christopher Craig and his wife Jennifer McNeill, her great-grandson Ryan James, her granddaughter Kelly; her daughter Monica Laura Belcourt and her husband Michael of Toronto, her grandchildren, Marc and Brooker; her sisters, Olga Lapper of Sydney, BC and Jean Stimpson of Hudson Bay, SK; and her brother Peter Kozakewich of West Vancouver, BC. Mary is predeceased by her husbands, Sidney William Harrison of Winnipeg and Peter Witation also of Winnipeg and her granddaughter Saige Belcourt of Toronto.
