DIANE JOYCE GUNNING (nee HLADY) Diane Joyce Gunning beloved wife of 32 years to Denis Gunning of Lethbridge passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre on Monday, April 25, 2005 at the age of 52 years. Besides her loving husband Denis, she is survived by a daughter Samantha (Chris) Dixon of Nobleford; a son Ian (Nicole) Gunning of Coaldale; one grandson Jayden and Chris' son Conner. She is also survived by her mother Ella Hlady of Glenboro, MB; two brothers, Ken (Maureen) Hlady of Grasmere, BC and Dennis (Debbie) Hlady of Boissevein, MB as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Henry in 1994. Diane was born September 29, 1952 in Selkirk, MB and started her nursing career in Winnipeg. She enjoyed working in the Neo Natal Unit at the Winnipeg General Hospital and continued nursing until she began her family. Diane was a full time mom until she began working at Savers Convenience Store eventually becoming the assistant manager. Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson; she also enjoyed camping and traveling with her family. She lived every day to the fullest. The Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Thursday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
