Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ANTONIO It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Joseph Antonio on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Joe was predeceased by Jessie, his beloved wife of 58 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sons, Herb Kulik (Deanna) and Jim Kulik (Gerry); his granddaughters, Brenda (Ken) Macaulay, Cathy (Ken) McLeod and Diane (Randy) Toker; grandsons, Darren (Daniela) Kulik and Glenn (Mary-Ann) Kulik; great-grandchildren, Amy and Alexander McLeod, Samantha Macaulay, James and Jennifer Toker, Riley and Brittney Kulik. Born on April 13, 1920, Joe grew up in the North End of Winnipeg where he lived his entire life. In 1944 he married Jessie Kulik and became Dad to Herb and Jim. He was a wonderful husband and father and worked very hard to provide his family with a good life. He was employed at Labatt's Brewery for 40 years. Joe will be remembered by all who knew him for his wonderful sense of humour. He always had a joke to tell and entertained everyone at their many card parties and get-togethers. He was a kind man who always got great satisfaction from helping others. You could always count on Joe to lend a hand. Recently he enjoyed helping friends at Amber Meadows Retirement Home - where he will also be deeply missed. Joe and Jessie spent many of their happiest years fishing at Pine Falls. They made several trips to Los Angeles to visit her sister Rose, and also enjoyed San Diego, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Our fourth generation has now ended, and life won't be the same. Luckily memories are wonderful things that are never lost and can never be taken away. We will always love and remember you Dad. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion, especially Unit 7, 3rd Floor. Also thanks to the staff at Amber Meadows and all the friends who made him feel so welcomed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30 at 11:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with a reception to follow, Rev. Alan Armstrong officiating. Interment at a later date. Donations may be made to the Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation, 2300 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 9Z9.
