GERALD KANE Peacefully, on April 26, 2005, Gerald passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 72 years. Gerald will be sadly missed by his brothers, Jack (Verla) and Jim; nieces, Rhonda, Julie and Corry and by nephew Pat; grandniece Rebecca and grandnephew Logan; sister-in-law Olly along with many other relatives and friends who cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Alma Kane. Gerald started work with Canada Malting in 1951 and retired from it in 1986. He was a true lover of nature, spending many hours gardening and enjoying the outdoors. He had a special place in his heart for his grandniece and grandnephew whom he treasured. Gerald was honest and generous and his good natured spirit will live on in us who loved him. He will be deeply missed. Funeral service will take place on Friday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No 1 East and Navin Road with viewing one hour prior to service time.
