WALTER O. KLANN Walter O. Klann was born August 30, 1937 in Pine Falls, MB to Bertha and Karl Klann of Thalberg MB. As a young man Walter worked in the bush camps. At age 16 he met Lila and in 1956 at age 18 they were married. Walter worked at various Construction Companies till 1962. Walter worked in Illinois for a couple years, and in 1967 the family moved back to Winnipeg where he began working at Comstock Canada, working his way up to supervisor, which kept him away from home so he decided to start his own Construction Company with his four sons. Over the years he made it into a successful company. Walter was a hard worker, taking pride in his work. His loader was his pride and joy, especially in winter, snow clearing was his passion. Many a smiles come when we think of his stories.
