DENISE-MARIE LANDRY August 15, 1930 - April 24, 2005 Peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, on April 24, 2005, Miss Denise-Marie Landry aged 74 years eight months, late of Winnipeg and formerly of Montreal. Miss Landry was predeceased by her father Joseph in September 1966; her mother Marie-Agnes (nee Gauthier) in November 1973; her brothers, Georges in 1978 and Emile in December, 1991, and her sister Claire in February 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Charles Landry (Doraine Blomme) of Winnipeg; nephew Roger Landry (Kathryn Dopson) of Calgary; niece Louise (Peter Papadopoulos) and Jennifer, Jessica and Nicolas of Winnipeg; nephew Mark Landry (Anne Rundle) and Paul and Kevin of Montreal; nephew Claude Landry (Arlene Flanagan) and Justin and Michelle, of Calgary. Miss Landry was born in Saint-Norbert where she received her schooling prior to attending business college. After working a brief period in Winnipeg she joined the law firm of Stikeman Elliott in Montreal as a Legal Secretary from where she retired in 1991 after a 35 year career. She returned to Winnipeg in 1992. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Interment of ashes in the Saint-Norbert cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor nurses and staff at the Victoria Hospital and Dr. Robyn L. Olson for their care of our sister, aunt and great aunt.
