He was a self employed contractor until illness forced him to retire. Tom enjoyed hunting, travelling, camping, curling and especially time spent at Brereton Lake. He also enjoyed many cherished hours with his fishing buddy Gabe. Tom and Wendy shared many trips to Florida which included a deep sea fishing adventure and a family vacation to Disney World. Tom and Wendy raised their family in St. James, where Tom was very active with children's sports. He coached and managed several soccer, hockey and baseball teams at the Sturgeon Creek Community Centre and organized the junior program at the Deer Lodge Curling Club. Tom was president of the Sturgeon Creek Community Centre during which time he oversaw the planning and construction of a large expansion to the building. He planned many great car rallies and social events while involved at Sturgeon Creek. Tom's family would like to express their deepest thanks to Dr. Pat Harris, Dr. W. C. Schellenberg, palliative care nurse Chris Carlyle and the staff at the Grace Hospital Cancer Care. We would like to thank family and friends for their generous gifts of food, flowers and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to Grace Cancer Care, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7. FATHER Who worked so hard and saved so long For what we have today; And anytime would sacrifice, His chance to rest or play. Who always saw his children have, The things he did without; And gave so much, unselfishly For that's what love's about. Who sought no honours, no rewards, For all that he had done; Except to raise a family, The very finest one. Though we cannot evaluate Our Dad, his love, his worth. To us he'll always be Just Dad: The greatest guy on earth. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
