JULIA THERESA PARKER It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Julia Theresa Parker, on April 24, 2005. Mom was predeceased by our father Stanley in 1965. Also gone before are her parents, Frederick and Alphonsine Parisien; her brothers, Jules, Gabriel and Art Parisien; and also her sisters, Adele Laramee and Marguerite Laramee. She is survived by two sisters, Jennie Ricker and Ernestine Mondor (Joe). She will be sadly missed by her children, Jacqueline Glowatsky (Reginald), Thelma De Gueldre (Andre), Patricia Balasko (Alan), Earl Parker (Beardetta), Harvey Parker (Wendy), Henry Parker (June), Paulette Dillon (Gerard) and Albert Parker. She will be missed also by her 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mom was born in St. Norbert and spent most of her life in Winnipeg, except for the period between 1957 and 1967 when she and Dad moved to Oak Bluff to raise the children. After Dad's death Mom moved to Basswood where she remained for the rest of her days. The family would like to send their sincere thanks to Dr. Darcy Johnson for his many years of tender care, also many thanks to Dr. Shad, Dr. Halynka and to the wonderful nursing staff at the Riverview Health Centre for making her last days peaceful and comfortable. There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 28, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the E. J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A mass will be said on Friday, April 29, at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Ignatius Church (corner of Stafford and Corydon), with interment to follow at St. Norbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. Coutu Co. Funeral Directors 680 Archibald St. 253-5086
