JOSEPHINE ELLEN MANN (YALLITS) Suddenly but peacefully on Saturday morning, April 16, 2005, while holding the hand of her beloved husband, Reverend Victor Mann, Josephine left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Josephine was born on March 16, 1926 to Jack and Eva Wheeler in Maidenhead, Birkshire, England. She is survived by her sisters Binnie and Jackie and her brother David and their families. She is also survived by her two children, David Yallits and Susan Bukta; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband George Yallits and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Yallits. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and fellow Christians from many congregations, St. George's Transcona, St. James Beausejour, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Vital, St. Luke's, Emerson, St. Andrew's, Cowichan Station and St. Michael's and All Angels Chemainus. Josephine started working at the age of 15 at the Aspro Factory in Maidenhead. She came to Canada as a war bride. Later she worked for many years at the Winnipeg Post Office. Josephine was a member of the Guild of Health where she encouraged and prayed for many patients and families on the terminal ward. Some of her greatest joys were gardening, sewing and knitting. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 at Knysh Funeral Home, 1020 Main St. A Funeral will also be held on the same day in Chemainus, B.C. at 1:00 at St. Michael's and All Angels Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Josephine's memory. Our loss is heaven's gain See you when we get there Mum
