SYLVIA KRAWCHUK October 23, 1946 - April 18, 2005 Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Peter Krawchuk, of 35 years, all of which were blessed by God. Sylvia is also survived by her mother, Mary Jeske of Brandon, sister Janice and husband Clarke Story of Brandon, brother Darrell Jeske and wife Tracy of Brandon, brother Marvin Jeske and wife Darlene of Swan River, sister Bobbi Story and husband David of Kelowna. Sylvia is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Sylvia was pre-deceased by her father Gustav Jeske in 1981. Her passing is also deeply mourned by her sister-in-law Deanna Krawchuk of Vancouver with whom she had maintained a very special relationship. Her entire family wishes to convey its gratitude to all the treatment staff from GD6, CancerCare and Palliative Care St. Boniface for all their professional care and support for Sylvia over these many months. Sylvia's husband Peter would like to convey his gratitude for the compassion, personal support and medical care given to Sylvia throughout her long illness especially to Dr. Morel Rubinger, nurse Jayne Kasian, and pharmacist Marc Geirnaert. Peter would also like to express Sylvia's and his appreciation to Alex Omsen for his loving friendship throughout and being there for Sylvia during the darkest times of crises. Peter also wants to express Sylvia's and his warmest gratitude to Art and Judy McGifford for their loving compassion and long standing support throughout our moments of despair and being beside us during our times of greatest need. May God Bless them both. A memorial service and interment were held at Chapel Lawn on April 21. Donations to CancerCare Manitoba in memory of Sylvia would be greatly appreciated.
