She was an active member of the Embroiderer's Association of Canada and Manitoba and a member of the Craft Guild of Manitoba. Earlier in her life she also enjoyed golf and was a member of the Elmhurst Golf and Country Club. Frances and Alex enjoyed travelling and visited many parts of the world. They wintered for 16 years in Pharr, Texas. Frances is survived by and will be missed by her husband and their three children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, Catherine, Michelle, Marisa and Lena and one great-granddaughter Jaelynn. Also a sister Kay, and a brother Doug, a brother-in-law Keith, and sisters-in-law, Violet, Audrey and Betty. Plus many nieces, nephews and a multiple of friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Francois and Dr. Levesque, the staff in emergency and on 6A at St. Boniface Hospital, the staff at the Centre de Sante and the staff at Gentle Touch for all their support during Frances' illness.
