She was a fun loving, hardworking person with a wonderful sense of humour. Kate worked at Eaton's for over 31 years and took great pride in her job. She was a longtime volunteer for the Ladies Aid at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Lion's Place. Kate had a passion for knitting and needlework. She loved to clean, cook, travel, play pool and scrabble. She won trophies for pool and was never beaten at a game of scrabble. Most importantly, family was everything! She cherished family get togethers, especially when dinner was involved! Kate was a devoted and loving person to all her family and friends. She always put others before herself. It's not only what she said or what she did, it's also how she made us feel, that made her so special. We will all smile when we think of her. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their kindness and care given to our mother, grandmother and friend.
