Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGATHE GOOSSEN January 19, 1911 - April 27, 2005 Agathe Goossen passed away at Concordia Hospital. She was born in Burwalde, Ukraine, Russia. She arrived in Canada in 1949 and married in 1951. She was predeceased by husband Henry in 1980 and son Helmut in 2002. She is survived by daughter Laura (Terry); daughter-in-law Elizabeth and grandchildren, Darcie and Mark. Agathe worked hard all her life and faced many hardships that made her the strong person she was. Two loves in her life were her family and garden. Her flower and vegetable gardens were well known around the neighborhood. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her grandchildren were a great source of pride and joy. Funeral service will take place Monday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
