FERNE GERTRUDE HARWOOD On April 28, 2005 at Riverview Medical Centre, Ferne Harwood passed away peacefully in her 89th year. She was predeceased by her husband, Sid, in 1974 and her son, Joe, in 1997. She is survived by her daughter Audrey (Harvey) Horsman of Vancouver, daughter Barbara (Marus) Amundson of Chilliwack, BC, daughter-in-law Anne (Joe) Wallbridge of Winnipeg, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and the interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., on Tuesday, May 3 at 1:30 p.m. Following the interment a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 3 at 2:30 p.m. at Thomson In the Park , Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Friends and relatives are invited to attend both services. Those who plan to attend the graveside service are asked to gather at the cemetery gates. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
