Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL SKOTYNSKI Suddenly, on April 26, 2005, at his residence, Michael Skotynski, passed away at age 75 years. Michael was born in Winnipeg on December 9, 1929. Attended Central School in Transcona. He furthered his education in Business Administration at Success Commercial College. Michael was employed with Winnipeg Supply in Accounting for 32 years, retiring in 1981. He was often seen carrying a newspaper wherever he went as he was always watching the stock market. He also enjoyed spending many happy times at his trailer in Grand Marais. He was a kind, soft-spoken man who had many friends. He will be deeply missed. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Wasyl and is survived by numerous cousins, friends and one God Child. Prayers will be offered on Sunday evening May 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. Divine liturgy to be celebrated on Monday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day Street with Rev. Fr. Michael Krochak officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Vichnaya Pam'Yat Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
