GEORGE MICHAEL MCSHERRY Sr. September 2, 1913 - April 28, 2005 In the early morning hours of Thursday, April 28, 2005, George McSherry Sr. passed away at the Tudor Manor in Selkirk, Manitoba. He will be dearly missed by his children, George (Jean) McSherry of Inwood and Cathy Gottlieb of Calgary, AB, Marylou McSherry of Saskatoon, SK, Julie (Rick) Ross of Saskatoon, Rose Marie (Mark) Freeborn of Vancouver. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Sherry, Jeffrey, Stuart, Chandra, Michael, Shannon, Rowdy and Rhea; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Kirk, Clarke, Paige, and Aries. Dad is also survived by his sister Anna McSherry and Joe McSherry of Ingersoll, Ontario and sister Mary Louise McSherry of London, Ontario. May he be in their prayers. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years Dorothy Agnes McSherry Sr. (nee Howard) and his beautiful eldest daughter Dorothy Agnes Roginzky of Saskatoon. Dad will always be remembered for his enormous sense of humour, his unyielding optimism, and his ability to tell a good story. These memories will sustain us during this time of grief. Funeral service and mass will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Cecelia's Roman Catholic Church, Inwood, Manitoba, with Rev. Fr. Gerald Langevin giving mass.
