Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURENCE MURRAY (MURRAY) NORQUAY 1945 - 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray, our beloved father, brother, uncle and great-uncle. Murray will be deeply missed by his children Wendy and Chris, and son-in-law John. To them he was a caring and loving father. To his former spouse Joyce he is a cherished memory. Murray was predeceased by his Mother and Father in 1992, also by two brothers, Arthur in 1972 and Allan in 1994. Murray will be lovingly remembered by his four sisters, Mabel (Chris), Freda (Woody), Pam of Stonewall and Arlene of Winnipeg. Murray will also be deeply missed by his brothers Fred (Kathy), Ken (Sandi), Dave (Debbie) of Winnipeg and Gerald (Karen) of Stonewall. Murray will always be remembered as a loving uncle by his many nieces and nephews. Murray was born June 23, 1945 in Lenswood, Manitoba. He attended school in Birch River and finished his education at Hugh John Mcdonald in Winnipeg. Murray's life work was trucking. He was employed by Bicknell Freighters for many years, and most recently with Custom Transport. Murray's great love was big rigs, country western music and cowboy boots. His favourite past times were playing cribbage and fishing, pulling in the big ones. Goodbye my family, my life has passed. I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take. Love for each other, for my sake. For those you love don't go away, They walk beside you every day. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at MacKenzies Funeral Home in Stonewall. Interment to follow in Stonewall Cemetery. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Society. Mackenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of arrangements.
