Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE JASTRAU June 27, 1915 - April 29, 2005 Peacefully on April 29, 2005, with her family at her side Mom passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Dokia Fedoruk; her husband Ludwig Jastrau in April 29, 1987; brothers Ted in 1977, John in 1990 and Mike in 2002. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her son Edward of Stonewall, daughter Louise (Daniel) Maydaniuk of Winnipeg, granddaughter Kathryn Luchinski (Keith) of Drayton Valley, AB; brothers, William (Mary) Fedoruk of Winnipeg, Paul (Beebe) Fedoruk of Roseau River, MB and many nieces and nephews. Mom and Dad spent many years farming in Red Rose and Argyle areas prior to purchasing the Red and White Store in Hodgson which they operated for 28 years, retiring to a new home in Stonewall in December 1974. Mom was very involved in Seniors work and was a Past President of the Stonewall Seniors Club. She was a Charter and Life member of the Hodgson Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Stonewall Legion Branch of the Ladies Auxiliary. Throughout her life she enjoyed curling, bingo, bowling and similar activities. Mom was devoted to her family and friends, always enjoying their visits. It was a joy for her to entertain them. She will be sadly missed by all. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Service for Mom will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel Stonewall. The Interment of ashes will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in Anne's memory may be made to a charity of their choosing.
